Museum Ideas 2014 International Conference

blog and press

This Thursday, 2 October I will be speaking at the Museum Ideas 2014 International Conference in London. This will only be my second speaking engagement ever, I’m really looking forward to it!

From the event website:

Museum Ideas attracts the world’s most fascinating museum innovators and challenges them to share transformative ideas in concise, powerful talks.

Join hundreds of museum colleagues from around the world to share the latest insights globally. Museum Ideas attracts a truly international crowd - with a global mix of participants from 24 countries taking part this year - including the US, Japan, Mexico, Korea, Iceland, Spain, Germany, Norway, France, Sweden and China.

I’ll be talking about how I’ve been using telepresence robots like the Beam from SuitableTech to visit museums around the world, they are an awesome piece of technology which enables quadriplegics like me to visit places that would otherwise be denied to us.

Wish me luck!
